Changes for 2022 and Reminders

It is most important to the League that all attendees be safe and feel comfortable participating in conference events. 

The League and Convention Center have made several changes to the “normal” process to satisfy the latest State and local Covid-19 safety protocols and guidelines. We ask you maintain social distancing, wear masks at all times, and to not attend the live conference if you feel ill or have been exposed to the Covid-19 virus. We ask that you follow these guidelines and understand why they are in place. 

Changes for 2022

  • Expo Halls - New Expo Hall C for 2022.
  • Booth Location - Locations may be seen in real time here. Locations are subject to change based on latest Covid-19 requirements and due to current venue renovations (to be completed March 2022).
  • Staff - Booths include 2 registrations per booth. Includes lunches and Welcome Reception tickets. Up to 3 additional booth staff may register for $125 each, plus meals if needed. Main Street booths are still limited to 2 booth staff.
  • Hours - Booths must be staffed during expo hours on Monday and Tuesday.
  • Move-in - Booth set up will be Sunday afternoon, June 12, between 12 noon and 4 pm. Tear down will not begin until 2:30 pm (tentative) on Tuesday. June 14. 
  • Access to Sessions - Exhibitors are welcome to attend conference sessions, workshops, and events. Exhibitors are welcome to attend the Welcome Reception on Sunday evening and to purchase tickets for the Closing Reception Tuesday evening. Receptions and lunches are ticketed events.
  • Vehicle and Equipment Displays NEW! – All display vehicles and equipment will be located inside the convention center. Vehicles and equipment must fit easily within your booth space along with your booth staff and display.  MML must be notified in advance to ensure your equipment will have access to your booth space. There is no additional charge for equipment located within your booth.


      


Covid-19 Related 

  • By participating in the MML 2022 Summer Conference you acknowledge that MML, the Convention Center, and MML official hotels have done their due diligence to keep everyone safe. Full waiver of liability is located on the MML website
  • In the event that the League is unable to safely host this conference in person, the event may transition to a virtual only online platform. Details and options will be provided in that case.

Exhibit Hours

The exhibit hours (tentative) will be:

Monday, June 13, 2022, from 9:30 am to 4:00 pm
Tuesday, June 14, 2022, from 10:00 am to 2:30 pm

All legitimate correspondence relating to MML’s summer conference is sent only from the Maryland Municipal League office in Annapolis, Maryland.

MML does not contract with third party vendors for hotel reservations, booth furnishing/design, attendee lists, or any sort of listing, guide, or directory.

If you receive any suspicious correspondence regarding MML and MML events please forward to the League for review.
