PREVENTATIVE SELF-CARE
Prioritize Mental Health Wellness
- Goal set, what must get done, what can wait, it is okay to say no
- Develop a sleep routine, hold yourself accountable to getting enough sleep
- Incorporate movement daily, take the stairs at work or go for a power walk on your lunch break
- Eat regular meals and stay hydrated
- Phone a friend, stay connected with friends or family that can provide emotional support
- Decompress, examples are mindfulness exercises, journaling, adult coloring, or scheduling "me time" to do your favorite hobby
