Each year, the League offers training grants to those towns who have not sent a representative to the summer conference in the past two years. These municipalities are often smaller with fewer officials and staff, making it a challenge to leave the town “unattended” for the training days. We believe the training and networking offered is worth it. Summer conference veterans can also attest to how rejuvenating it can be to get out of the trenches for a few days and reconnect with why you got into the municipal business, in the first place.
