The National League of Cities (NLC) will host a webinar on August 27 at 2pm to discuss the recent FCC ruling on cable franchise agreements. This ruling addresses two components of franchise agreements that could have detrimental effects on your city's revenue and the way in which these agreements are negotiated going forward; “in-kind” components of franchise agreements and deductions from franchise fees and the restrictions on regulation of “mixed use” networks by state and local franchising authorities.
