Just a reminder, now that the 2020 legislative session is underway, this also means that the MML Legislative Committee (LC) is hard at work. The members of the LC travel to Annapolis every week from now through late February to analyze over 300 bills and take positions on many of the bills put before them. The Committee also discusses various issues as they arise, and have the opportunity to meet with legislators and administration staff throughout the legislative session.
To view the bills that MML has taken a position on and to track the progress of the legislation, go to MML’s webpage and click on “Advocacy” and “Bill Position Summary.” To view the progress of an individual bill, click on the bill number.
