Your municipality has done the work. You’ve been an active League member and you want your fellow municipal officials to know, so now is the time to get your Banner City participation documentation form completed and into the MML headquarters. Completed forms must be received by MML staff no later than May 25. Forms may be scanned and emailed to paulah@mdmunicipal.org.
Due to state-wide school closures, the Engagement and Outreach committee has waived the school visit requirement for the 2020 Banner City/Town cycle.
Below are tips to help you get your form completed:
- Make sure all information is complete, especially dates, names and signatures. If you did not get a signature for attending each Chapter meeting, please approach your Chapter President and have him or her confirm attendance with an email.
- Don’t forget documentation such as copies of a proclamation or photos of the MGW flag flying at the city hall.
- Remember Part 5 on the back of the form. Please be sure to write in which of the criteria your town has met.
