[ARCHIVED] Addressing Cybersecurity In Your Town

cybersecurity

Cyber attacks have become an ever present reality, and we are seeing more and more municipalities in the news because of them.  MML's Hometown Emergency Preparedness Ad hoc Committee has spent this year focusing on ways to help Maryland's cities and towns address these threats. As a result of that work, we will be hosting a webinar on Thursday, April 22nd, to provide you with practical information and takeaways to increase the cybersecurity in your municipality.  REGISTER TODAY!

The presenter of this webinar is Paul Troncone, IT Expert and North Beach Councilman since 2017.

Paul is the President and founder of the Digadel Corporation and has 20 years of experience in the information security and IT fields. He has filled a variety of professional and consulting roles in the commercial and local/federal government sectors. For four years he also served as a Distinguished Visiting Professor of Computer Science at the United States Naval Academy.

Paul has published numerous cybersecurity articles in Municipal Maryland Magazine and is the co-author of the book Cybersecurity Ops with bash: Attack, Defend, and Analyze from the Command line (O’Reilly), and author of the Cybersecurity Risk Management Workbook.
